Yesterday, I have shown you the blossom of which the Pitaya came from. Don’t be intimidated, although the fruit is covered with thorns, the harvesters remove the thorns before packing. The fruits reminds me of the sea urchins common in the sea around my hometown.
This fruit is very popular in Japan and used in a variety of ways. Some use it as flavoring in ice creams and shakes, while others just eat the contents of the fruit. They say it’s good for your digestive system. I’ve eaten it and it was good, although i couldn’t describe it. All i know is, it was sweet with crunchy seeds similar to sesame seeds
